What advice would you give to a high school student going to college?

hi everyone!! today I am going to tell you what advice I would give to someone who is about to enter college.😊

I think first of all I would tell them about my experience in college, obviously maybe the conditions in which that person enters college are different than mine but I guess it can be of some use to them.

I entered the university the second semester of the year 2020, it was quite strange to be in online mode but it was very exciting, it was a new format of classes that the truth was not very good but you met new people and new worlds opened. I started the semester quite relaxed and didn't had complications, however currently I would say that the university can have very tiring and demanding weeks, sometimes understanding the professors is complicated and it is likely that very extensive work will come out in which you will have to stay up late to arrive with an "acceptable" work from their point of view, there are also many times that you will have different opinions with your classmates which can cause problems but above all you have to be empathetic and understand that we all live different realities that we shouldn't judge.

After all this my advice would be to meet new people to help you understand a little more of the world, of the diversity of people that exist, and if you get friends along the way, to lean on them as much as possible, I have realized that one of the most important things to survive in college is to have friends to help you in the subjects that cost you or to listen to you when you need something, it has been very nice to do work with people that I like and that empathize with the situations you live in class, 

so, in summary, my advice would be to seek to create these mutually supportive relationships with your classmates.
